My Clients

Going through a life change as an individual, or as a couple, impacts people differently and creates varied reactions and emotions. For some, this means feeling stuck and unable to move forward in this new life, while for others, such changes can lead to feeling anxious and worried. In other situations you may feel "off" and not be quite sure why.

My Approach

Each person is different, and brings something unique to the therapeutic relationship. My approach is non-judgmental, person-centered, collaborative, and goal focused. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life, and that I can help you identify and move past the barriers that stand in your way.

My Background

Helping people is something that I have always felt passionately about. I obtained my BA in Psychology at Muhlenberg College. From there, I earned a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University, where I specialized in Evidence Based Practice in Mental Health. I learned the most cutting edge and proven interventions for people suffering from mental illness.

For eight years after graduate school, I worked in community mental health at the Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS), where I worked closely with both clients and as a staff supervisor. The skills and experience that I gained from this work enabled me to pursue my dream of seeing people in my own practice.
